日本ではあまり使われておらず、読み方もよくわからないPatreon

私は「ペイトリオン」と読んでいますが「パトレオン」と呼ぶ人もいるようです。

ペイトリオンは海外ではよく使われています。

日本で近いサービスはCAMPFIREコミュニティ

キャンプファイヤコミュニティは下のとおり私も使っています。

日本語教師のハマゼミコミュニティ

①日本語教育能力検定試験に自分の力で合格したい人②組織に頼らず自分の力で世界中のどこでも働ける日本語教師になりたい人のためのコミュニティ

ペイトリオンもキャンプファイヤコミュニティも

ファンや支援者の方から月額課金（サブスクリプション）してもらうことで安定的な収入が見込めるサービスです。

オンラインの日本語教師は、italkiなどのプラットフォームを使ってレッスンをしている人が多いですが、レッスン数が収入に直結するためとても不安定です。

一方、ペイトリオンの場合は、加入してもらえば退会するまで毎月支払ってもらえるため、収入が安定しやすいです。

YouTube、インスタグラム、フェイスブックなどのSNSでフォロワーを増やす

→ patreonのサブスクリプション（定額課金）に入ってもらう

という流れが今後のフリーランス日本語教師の働き方として増えそうです。
